What we do

You define the final product. We manage the path to deliver it.

CapeTerminal helps importers add value to their products before they reach their final market.

From our operational network around Vizhinjam International Seaport, we coordinate packaging, labelling, kitting, assembly, processing, quality control, warehousing and other value-addition services for cargo moving between global manufacturing hubs and destination markets.

Our role is simple: you define the required final product, quality standards and delivery expectations. CapeTerminal manages the facilities, service providers, workflows and shipment coordination required to deliver it.

Built for Importers

CapeTerminal is designed for importers, distributors, brands and manufacturers that source products internationally but need additional work completed before final delivery.

A shipment may arrive in bulk from one country, undergo packaging or transformation near Vizhinjam, and then be re-exported directly to markets in the GCC, Africa, Europe, the Americas or elsewhere.

For example, products sourced from multiple factories can be consolidated, inspected, assembled into kits, labelled for the destination market and packed into retail-ready cartons before re-export.

Instead of coordinating separate warehouses, packaging companies, transporters, inspection teams and customs processes, clients work through CapeTerminal as a single operational partner.

Why Vizhinjam

Vizhinjam is positioned directly along major East–West shipping routes and provides strong connectivity to international transshipment networks.

Vizhinjam located 10nm from global shipping route makes it possible to receive cargo from Asian manufacturing centres, perform value addition in India and re-export the finished goods without moving the shipment from its global shipping route.

The surrounding industrial ecosystem also provides access to skilled labour, manufacturing capabilities, packaging suppliers, logistics providers and specialised service facilities across Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

This combination makes Vizhinjam a practical location for labour-intensive and operationally complex value addition.

End-to-end coordination

Your brief, operationalised

Your Product.
Your Standards.

Every project begins with the client’s desired final output.

You can provide product specifications, reference samples, packaging artwork, quality requirements, compliance instructions and supporting documents. CapeTerminal converts these requirements into a managed operational workflow.

Each participating facility receives clear instructions for its assigned stage. Progress, custody transfers, inspections and completion milestones are tracked throughout the process.

The result is a more controlled and transparent way to manage value addition across multiple providers.

How the model works

Connected operations

One Platform, Multiple Facilities

CapeTerminal does not limit clients to a single warehouse or factory.

Our platform connects shipments with suitable facilities and service providers based on the type of cargo, required transformation, capacity, location, equipment and quality requirements.

A shipment may pass through several specialised providers before completion. CapeTerminal coordinates these stages as one connected operation.

This allows importers to access a broader range of capabilities without building and managing their own local supplier network.

Chain of custody

Visibility Across Every Stage

International value addition can become difficult to manage when updates are spread across emails, spreadsheets, phone calls and multiple service providers.

CapeTerminal brings shipment information, operational stages, documents and progress updates into one workflow.

Clients can follow key milestones from arrival at Vizhinjam through processing, quality approval and final re-export.

Our objective is to create a clear chain of custody and accountability for every shipment.

Lower Complexity.
Greater Flexibility.

CapeTerminal enables businesses to use India as a flexible value-addition base without establishing their own local operations.

Clients can

Reduce dependence on a single overseas manufacturer
Move labour-intensive processes closer to the shipping route
Source components from multiple suppliers and consolidate them
Configure packaging for different destination markets
Perform final inspection before goods reach customers
Scale operations shipment by shipment
Access specialised providers through one coordination layer

This creates an alternative to completing every manufacturing, packaging and fulfilment activity at the original source.

Our Mission

To make port-based value addition simple, transparent and globally accessible.

We are building the operational infrastructure that allows international cargo to arrive at Vizhinjam, gain additional value and continue to its destination as a market-ready product.

CapeTerminal brings together ports, facilities, service providers, logistics operators and technology to create a more efficient route from production to market.

From Arrival to Re-Export

Whether you need simple relabelling or a multi-stage transformation workflow, CapeTerminal helps plan, coordinate and execute the operation.
